Trade and delivery conditions
How to order:
Select the product(s) you wish to purchase and add them to the cart. Accept the terms and conditions and click on Approve purchase.
Enter your information and check that the information is correct.
Click continue to delivery.
Please check that the information entered is correct.
Click Continue to payment.
Order confirmation:
You will receive an order confirmation shortly after placing your order. The order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided when purchasing.
When your order is packed and ready to be picked up by Danske Fragtmænd, you will receive another email from us. The email will include the order's tracking number, so you can follow the package's journey to your home.
Your order:
When ordering before 12 noon, we will strive to ship your package the same day your order arrives with us. If this is not possible, we will definitely ship your package the next business day*.
(* The weather can be tricky. If there is a forecast of frost over the weekend, the shipping day will be moved from Friday to Monday so that your paint does not have to sit on a truck in frost over the weekend)
Payment:
Once you have accepted our terms and conditions and provided us with your payment information, we will start mixing your paint and packing your package for you. The money will only be deducted from your account when the package is ready for pickup by the shipping company.

• Dankort, Visa Dankort, Visa Electron
• MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, JCB and American Express
• Mobile Pay
Payments are made on a secure page where data is encrypted (SSL). Only PBS has access to your payment information.
The purchase price for the goods is reserved on the card when ordering and is deducted when the order is shipped from Color Stories.
A larger amount cannot be deducted than you have approved when ordering.
Prices:
All prices include VAT and are in Danish kroner.
The prices are valid in Denmark, except for the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
Reservations are made for system and price errors.
Shipping price:
The shipping cost is DKK 39 for delivery to the mainland and bridge-connected islands to a parcel shop and DKK 49 for delivery to your home address.
For deliveries to non-mainland and bridge-connected islands, no additional charge will be applied.
There will be free shipping on orders over 500 kr.
Delivery:
We strive to ensure that your order will be packed and ready for dispatch by us no later than the day after we receive your order. Your package will be delivered to your home with Danish Freight Forwarders or GLS . The majority of all packages will be delivered the day after collection from us. This means that your package will be with you 1 -3 business days after you have ordered it from us*.
*) Reservations are made for sold-out items and backorders from our suppliers.
Avoid delay - "Place the package securely":
Avoid delays and extra costs, write on your order if and where the shipment must be placed securely.
If no one is home and you have not indicated that the shipment can be delivered, the carrier will take the goods back to the freight center when delivering with Danske Fragtmænd and to the parcel shop when delivering with GLS.
The package is delivered to the front door or to the entrance door/curb. The package is not carried up and/or in.
Package delivery:
You will receive a message regarding the delivery date. It is your responsibility to ensure that a recipient is present upon delivery. If not, you will need to arrange further arrangements with the shipping company.
If you are unsure whether you can be home at the time of delivery, you can instead:
- Write your workplace as an alternative delivery address
- Write in the comments field that the package can be returned (this is done without receipt of the package and is at the buyer's own risk*) (please note that you are responsible if the item is stolen/damaged/frost damaged)
- Get a call before delivery so you can get home and receive the package. – write this in the comments field.
If the carrier is unable to deliver the package, the package will be returned to the shipping center, where it can be picked up or redelivery will be arranged. Any redelivery will be at the recipient's expense. A message will usually be left in your mailbox regarding the failed delivery, and you must then contact the shipping company yourself.
Delivery during frost:
When there is frost, we do not send packages on Fridays, as the paint does not tolerate frost, and we therefore cannot guarantee that the package will not be on a truck over the weekend and thus be damaged.

Damage:
Unfortunately, it may happen that your package is damaged upon delivery. If this happens, you have 2 options:
- You can refuse to receive your package.
- You can receive your package with reservations. This means that you must have noted on the waybill that you are receiving the package with reservations because the package is damaged.
If you have received the item and did not discover the damage until unpacking, you must take pictures documenting the damage and its extent, as well as of the shipping label, after which you must contact us immediately.
The package will only be replaced if the above has been complied with.
Then contact us as soon as possible at info@color-stories.dk and please attach a picture of the damage.
Right of complaint:
When you shop at Color Stories, you as a private customer have a 2-year warranty.
If there are any errors or defects in the product, you must provide detailed information about what is being complained about. A good description, pictures and dialogue will help shorten the case processing time and the remediation process. Write to info@color-stories.dk
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or defect in the product.
Reasonable time is usually 14-30 days and a maximum of 60 days after you receive your goods.
In the event of errors or defects, the product may be eligible for a complaint when the product has been stored and used in accordance with the instructions.
If the complaint is justified, you can have goods with defects or deficiencies exchanged or get your money back.
Always arrange any return shipping with us. Goods returned on delivery or returned without postage and without agreement will be refused receipt by Color Stories.
If you have sent a product back to us for a complaint, we will examine and test it carefully.
If the error or defect cannot be proven, the complaint will not be accepted and we will return the item to you. In some cases, an invoice for time spent may be included in this context.
Goods returned due to a complaint must be returned with information about the order number and when the item was purchased. Failure to send this information with the item may result in unnecessary delays in processing the complaint.

Regret:
For consumer purchases, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal.*
*) If the product is made or adapted especially for you, at your request, there is normally no right of withdrawal. This means that there is a full right of return on our standard products and non-tinted products. This means that there is no discount on tinted paint from Color Stories, as these products are made especially for the customer when ordered.
- The right of withdrawal runs from the time you receive the goods. After that, you have 14 days to cancel your purchase.
- If you cancel your purchase within 14 days, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. Send us an email at info@color-stories.dk or by returning your email with the order confirmation.
You must pay for the return shipping of the goods yourself when you exercise your right of withdrawal.
- In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the goods must be handed over to the carrier no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you regret your purchase.
- When you exercise your right of withdrawal, the item must be returned in substantially the same condition as when you received it and in its original packaging. This means that the item must be returned in unbroken packaging.
If the item is not returned in substantially the same condition, the value of the item will be estimated by Color-Stories based on an estimated sales value. Lack of original packaging always results in a decrease in value.
In some cases, the depreciation may be so great that the resale value of the item is 0.
Depreciation due to missing or damaged original packaging or contents will be deducted from the purchase price before refund.
Color Stories will refund the purchase price within 14 days after the goods have been returned, in accordance with Section 12c of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.
Cancellation of part of the purchase
If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased under one order.
Please note that you will not receive a refund for delivery costs if you regret part of your purchase. This means that if you have purchased an order with free shipping and refuse to receive the item so it is sent back, you will be charged the full shipping amount.
Return:
There are three ways you can return an item:
RETURNS MUST ALWAYS BE AGREED TO BY EMAIL.
• You may refuse to accept the goods from the carrier. If you refuse to accept the goods because you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please remember to notify us of this.
• You can receive the goods and subsequently return the goods to Color-stories.dk. In that case, we ask you to enclose a copy of the invoice for the purchased goods as documentation that the returned goods were purchased from Color-Stories.dk.
• You can return the item to our warehouse within 14 days.

All products returned to Color Stories must be securely packaged.
We recommend that goods are returned via Danske Fragtmænd, GLS or PostNord. This allows the shipment to be tracked via Track & Trace, which removes any doubt as to whether the goods have been delivered to us.
If you have returned an item, you will be notified when we have received the item. Here you will find information about the further process in connection with the processing of your cancellation or complaint.
The purchase price will be returned to the card used for payment. Amounts used for shipping will not be refunded and will be offset against the purchase price.
When you exercise your right of withdrawal, you must pay for the return shipping to us. The purchase price will be refunded minus Color Stories' shipping costs.
When you exercise your right to a complaint, you must initially pay for the return shipping yourself. If your complaint is accepted, your shipping costs will be refunded. Therefore, keep your receipt.
Color Stories does not accept goods that are returned cash on delivery or without postage without agreement.
Personal data policy:
In order for you to receive products/news from Color Stories, we need the following information:
•Name
•Address
•Phone number
•Email address
We register your personal information for the purpose of delivering goods to you. We do not register any personally sensitive information.
The personal information is registered with Color Stories and stored for as long as necessary for legal reasons or to provide you with service, after which the information is deleted.
We share your name, order number and email address with Trustpilot for the purpose of collecting reviews of our service. Trustpilot processes this data on our behalf. This information is automatically deleted after 3 years. You can request that the information be deleted earlier if you do not want Trustpilot to have it.
When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it only happens with your express consent, so that you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why.
We do not store and transmit general customer information encrypted. Information provided to Color Stories is not disclosed to third parties unless this is necessary to deliver the goods to you. For example, we disclose your address to the carrier for the purpose of delivering your goods.
The data controller at Color Stories has access to the information recorded about you.
As a registered user of Color Stories, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to access what information is registered about you. You have these rights according to the Danish Personal Data Act. Inquiries in this regard should be directed to info@color-stories.dk
Cookies:
At color-stores.dk, cookies are used for the purpose of optimizing the website and its functions, to make the visit as easy as possible for you. You can delete cookies from your computer at any time, the method depends on your browser.
Log statistics:
We use log statistics on color-stores.dk, which means that a statistics system collects information that can provide a statistical picture of how many visitors we have, where they come from and where on the website they leave, etc.
The log statistics are only used for the purpose of optimizing color-stories.dk.
